Jeff Wessman’s career as a media professional began as producer and host with New Dimensions Broadcasting Network where for more than 8 years he recorded interviews and produced documentaries with some of the world’s leading social innovators and transformational leaders including Lynne Twist, David Whyte, Julia Cameron, the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, and many others.
In 2003 Jeff founded Inner Active Media a media production company specializing in experiential audio and video for authors, educators and public speakers. In addition to providing various technical services including live event and studio recording, voice over, scripting, podcast and audio book services, Jeff supports clients to leverage their expertise, integrating content, presentation, branding, info products, distribution and marketing.
Some notable clients include: Catherine Austin Fitts (Solari, Inc.), Maryanne Comaroto (Shomi Institute), Mariam Safinia (The School of Practical Philosophy), Tim Ward (author), Professional Coaches and Mentors Association, International Conference on Shamanism and Alternative Modes of Healing, Praxis Peace Institute, Mary Allen (author, life coach), and Bill Baren (Green Business Coaching).
Jeff also hosts his own web radio show, Bringing Wisdom to Life in which he interviews authors and public speakers offering perspectives and possibilities for living more purposeful and meaningful lives. Guests have included Marci Shimoff, Mary Allen, Jenna Avery, Georgia Kelly, Tim Ward and others.
As a composer and voice talent Jeff credits include 2 CDs of original music, a collection of Sinatra Songs, Savage Breast: One Man’s Search for the Goddess (audio book), Death Jr. 2: Root of Evil published by Backbone Entertainment, and the Solari Report Audio Digest (podcast).
When Jeff is not working with sound he can usually be found in beautiful watershed of Mount Tamalpais in Marin Country.
